Date: Thursday, March 28th
Time: 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM
Maintaining a healthy bike can be intimidating, especially if you don’t have someone to show you the ropes! During this evening, Dave will be teaching a small group the basics of bike maintenance. This will be a hands-on clinic, where you can learn and practice your new skill set on your own bike with the supervision of an Ascent Cycles Mechanic. The topics covered this evening will be: general understanding of maintenance, cleaning & lubrication, how to fix a flat, and brakes.
If you find yourself asking the questions below, this clinic will be perfect for you:
Lubing a chain? What does that mean?
What happens when you get a flat tire? What causes flats?
Why do I need new tires? Or brakes for that matter?"
How and why should I clean my bike? "I just commute on it!"
You bring the bike, we’ll provide the bubbly refreshments! This event is private, and tickets must be pre-purchased.
